Starting in the Fall of 2026, Newman University will be partnering with Colby Community College to bring the students of Colby and the surrounding areas a one of a kind opportunity to achieve their higher academic goals while staying HERE, close to home.
This premier educational program offers new graduates the chance to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business, agribusiness, teaching or nursing through Colby Community College. Students will be able to stay close to home and experience the cost-savings benefits of this revolutionary university program.
Once students have completed their associate degree, they will be seamlessly transitioned into a student of Newman University where they can complete the remainder of their bachelor’s degree. All of this is done through the Colby Community College campus, affording students the convenience of remaining local while achieving their educational goals. Attend for as little as $750 per year.
The main campus is located in Wichita, Kansas with outreach sites in Southeast Kansas, Southwest Kansas, Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

From its beginnings in 1964, with makeshift classrooms in downtown buildings, Colby Community College has grown into a dynamic institution serving more than 2,100 students. In addition to a main campus of approximately 60 acres, CCC operates a 60-acre farm that gives students hands-on laboratory and training opportunities.
Located in northwest Kansas, CCC serves students from Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, and across the United States through on-campus and online programs. Colby is approximately 50 miles from the Colorado and Nebraska borders, in the High Plains region east of the Rocky Mountains.
